July 5th 2013 Sunset Landscape Study Canvas Print

Completed April 2026, this landscape study reflects on one of the first sunsets my husband and I experienced when we first met. We joke now that July 5th, 2013, was our unofficial first date, with the sunset being in our top three of the most spectacular we have ever seen. This scene is over Whitestown, Indiana, and the reference image is of an area which now houses the newer addition of Walker Farms. The farmland scene is becoming more and more rare to witness due to the explosive growth in Boone County, Indiana.
