Collection: Topical Steroid Addiction & Withdrawal Syndrome Art

This is the complete collection of original artworks created in response to experiencing unintentional topical steroid addiction and withdrawal syndrome: a preventable, horrific medical condition not yet recognized in the United States. It is, however, recognized in the U.K. and Australia. Beginning intentionally with a minimal palette and making use of negative space, I meditate or pray on a word or phrase that comes to mind while I paint. This is both related to the emotions and grief associated with experiencing this condition, and becomes the title for the piece. The texture you see is commemorative of the broken skin I experienced.
